"Dunav press" JSC has demonstrated its innovative face in the Open doors day, held on the 10th of October 2014. The event was attended by more than 150 Bulgarian and foreign partners of the company. All the visitors had the opportunity to observe the production capacity of “Dunav press” JSC in real time action, and also saw thespeciallyarranged for the exhibition stands of some of the leading world companies-manufacturers of products and equipment in the printing industry:
MM Karton, Metsa Board, HP Indigo, Brigl&Bergemeister, Gidue, 3-Print, Epple Druckfarben, Marbach, Heidelberg Treofan, Print Solutions, Print Industry, Stora Enso, Planatol, Pearltec, Radior, J+S, Druck Partners. In a festive atmosphere the guests and the hosts exchanged experience and innovative solutions.
The Mayor of Ruse Mr. Plamen Stoilov greeted the management of the company on the occasion of the 150 years of its creation – "Dunav press is the epitome of what we all should do we to make a company succeed,an enterprise to succeed, to make a city succeed. It`s long history is a cause for pride and is a symbol of the development in Ruse. The first printing press in Bulgaria has started to operate precisely here, and this great establishment is its successor."
Among the official guests of the event were also the Governor of Ruse district Mr. Simeon Ivanov, Deputy to the Governor of Ruse district Mr. Valentin Kolev and the President of the Confederation of Independent trade Unions in Bulgaria - Mr. Plamen Dimitrov, who also expressed their congratulations.
All of the employees and guests were personally greeted by Mr. Nikolay Alexiev, CEO of “Dunav press” JSC
and received a keepsake gift. In his official congratulatory statementhe greeted all dignitaries, partners, employees and friends of the company and thanked for their trust and support. He added that he does not just believe, or hope, but that he is convinced that the company will continue to develop at least three times 150 years more.
