The printing house Dunav press JSC, Rousse became the third holder  of a Certificate of green energy in Bulgaria, proving that 100% of the electricity supplied to the company, is produced from renewable sources. The document was officially served by the regional commercial director of  ENERGO-PRO Energy Services, Mrs. Albena Lazarova. Each certificate of green energy has a unique number, assigned validity and is stored in a public register.

Dunav press JSC, a successor of the first printing house in Bulgaria, founded in 1864 in Rousse, today is mainly oriented in the production of labels and packaging for beverage, food and pharmaceutical industries and delivers its products across Europe.

"For us it is very important to meet the highest standards and requirements of our customers. Being a "green company" is a part of them. We have also taken other actions in this direction - electronic invoicing, electronic quality certificates, participation in the German deposit system for environmental protection Deutsches Pfandsystem GmbH, etc. What we did with our partner ENERGO-PRO is a natural extension of this path", said the Executive Director Mr. Nikolay Alexiev. "Thus the production of electricity from renewable energy sources that would help to reduce carbon emissions, is being stimulated. As a leading Bulgarian and European company in the printing industry, we believe this is extremely important, because in addition to responsibility to the current generation, we must be also responsible to the future ones."

The manager of  ENERGO-PRO Energy Services, Mr. Plamen Stefanov said that there is serious interest of the Bulgarian business to electricity produced from renewable sources. He expressed his satisfaction with the partnership with Dunav press in terms of stimulating ecological production of electricity.
