MASTER M5 - Fully Servo Driven Flexo rotary printing and converting machine
The new Master M5™, fully ARC-Simotion™ servo controlled, offers the most advanced technologies in the GIDUE range of flexographic presses. It delivers the highest converting flexibility with practically unlimited configurations, and the most advanced automation concepts, to produce "digital" quality and set up times.
Unlimited substrates: labels, shrink sleeves, wrap around labels, flexible packaging, laminated tubes, pharma alufoil, yoghourt lids, lottery tickets, prepaid cards, sausage skins etc.
Unlimited converting solutions: multi-web, in-line and off-line laminations, booklet labels, coupon labels etc. Unlimited print repeat sizes and number of printed colours (with second-pass optional equipment). Wide range of combination printing (gravure, silk screen, cold foil, hot-stamping, digital ink-jet).
The exclusive GIDUE patent pending "Digital Flexo™" concept allows for the shortest set up times, with "full digital control" of all printing and converting operations:

The new "short" and "suspended" web path with driven chilled drums allows for reduced wastes, short set-up time, extreme register stability, and easy and comfortable access to the press (middle deck).
The optional Double-Drum™ configuration allows for UV and high power IR drying, to choose between UV and water based inks or lacquers or glues on the same print unit at high speed, also on unsupported films (lower deck).
Later retrofit of Double-Drum™ technology after the installation is always possible on each print unit, for eventual future evolution of the Master M5 press.
The new "open slitting" section permits the shortest set up times and the easiest access to the slitting area, with multiple slitting possibilities (crush cut, back slitting, shear knife) in a "user-friendly" operating area.
The Master M5™ is the best solution for the production of labels and unlimited packaging solutions, with "digital" printing quality. The special geometry of the Flower™ head prevents the mechanical wear from influencing the printing quality, the print cylinder is held without guides and all the tolerances are recuperated. The press durable steel double frames contributes to keep the performances of the Master M5™ press identical during the years.
The Flower™ flexographic head is a miracle of simplicity and durability. Many press manufacturers have been inspired by its revolutionary approach: ease of use, performance stability during the years, components immediately available for job changes.

[1] The real production speed depends on printing conditions, kind of material, print cylinders and plate repeat, ink and varnishing.
