On May 27th, at an official ceremony in the Gallery for Foreign Art in Sofia, the award "Printing House of the Year 2003" was presented to the CEO of one of the first printing houses in Bulgaria - Dunav press JSC. The competition "Printing House of the Year" was organized for the first time by the Union of Printing Industry in Bulgaria, International Fair - Plovdiv and Polygraphy magazine.
The Chairman of the Board of the Union of Printing Industry in Bulgaria. Prof. Petar Kanev presented to Dipl. Eng. Ventseslav Alexiev, CEO of  Dunav press JSC, a stylish wooden statuette in the shape of the Gutenberg press.
Mr. Alexiev thanked for the high honor, which he said, was a recognition of the long tradition of high quality, proven by Dunav press JSC for 140 years.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Union of Printing Industry in Bulgaria, and representatives of the International Fair - Plovdiv and all metropolitan media.
The place of celebration was not chosen by chance - in the building of the Gallery for Foreign Art, which years ago housed the State Printing House in Sofia.
